Hi, I'm Kim.

Photographer. Storyteller. Traveler. Mom. And someone who believes the moments we think we'll always remember are often the ones we most need photographs of.

I've always been drawn to the moments when life is changing.

Maybe that's because I've spent much of my career as a school counselor, helping young people figure out who they are, where they're going, and what comes next. I've watched countless seniors stand at the edge of their next chapter—with excitement, uncertainty, and a whole lot of possibility.

And then there's being a mom.

I've watched my own children grow up, and I've learned firsthand just how quickly a season of life can become a memory. The little things you think you'll never forget? Sometimes those are the very things you wish you had captured.

That's a big part of why I photograph.

I don't just want you to remember what it looked like.

I want you to remember how it felt.

The excitement of senior year.

The way your family laughs together.

The quiet moment before walking down the aisle.

The way your partner looks at you when they think you aren't watching.

The people gathered around you for a milestone.

The feeling of being somewhere beautiful with the people you love.

Those are the moments I'm looking for.

My approach is simple.

You don't have to be a professional model. You don't need to know how to pose. And you definitely don't need to show up knowing exactly what you want.

That's my job.

I'll guide you when you need direction, give you room to be yourselves when you don't, and look for the little interactions that make your photographs feel like your family, your relationship, and your season of life.

I want you to walk away with photographs that are beautiful—but also feel like you.

And yes, I love an adventure.

When I'm not behind my camera, there's a pretty good chance I'm planning my next trip, exploring somewhere new, photographing a beautiful place, or finding a great restaurant along the way.

Travel has taught me something I bring into my photography all the time:

The best memories aren't always the perfectly planned ones.

Sometimes they're the unexpected moments, the places you didn't know you'd love, the people you shared them with, and the stories you bring home.
